Dr Selam Bullock finished her Pediatrics
training in Brooklyn New York. She is Board
Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the
American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been
practicing in North Carolina since 2002, and in
Raleigh since 2006. She started Kids First
Pediatrics in 2008 with her husband Chris as
the office manager. Since 2008, the practice
has rapidly grown. They have 2 little girls,
Sarah and Sophie. Dr Bullock speaks Spanish,
Tigrinya(her native language) as well as Baby
language. She enjoys blowing bubbles with her
little girls.

Kara is a graduate of the University of
Hartford, Connecticut and has been
practicing Pediatric medicine for 17 years.
Prior to joining Kids First Pediatrics, she
worked at UNC as a Certified Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner in the Ear Nose and Throat
Department. Her special interests include
Asthma management, ADHD and
dermatology. She is happy to be living in
North Carolina with her husband Scott and
their 2 children, Alex and Abigail. Her special
interests include boating, gardening and
photography.
